Egypt / Europe tour 2008

During September / October 2008 I did a photographic tour of Egypt and Europe. While in Egypt I took photos on behalf of Dr Joann Fletcher, a well known Egyptologist and author who lectures at York University UK.

My main interest in both Egypt and Europe were places of cultural / historic interest, as well as sites that  could serve as resource material. While in Southern Wales for example, I spent time in the former Roman village of Caerwent which is the location for a children's book I have written entitled the Dream of the China Horse.

In Egypt I concentrated on Luxor and Karnak temples, including the forecourt of Amenhotep III which was of particular interest to Joann Fletcher. At Aswan in Upper Egypt I photographed the Temple of Isis on the (relocated) Island of Philae.

In Europe I spent most of my time in Holland, the UK and Wales.

In the coming months I will post more images and provide more information. Please feel welcome to contact me directly (CONTACT at bottom of page) if you have any comments to make or questions to ask about any aspect of photography and Photoshop.

Please take the time also to look through each of the images or to visit the other parts of my site.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my site and I hope you find something that inspires you.
