MYSTICISM
Mysticism derives from the Greek word mystikos and refers to someone who seeks a conscious awareness of the divine, spiritual truth, or God through direct experience, intuition and insight. It is a belief in the existence of realities beyond the normal range of perception (five senses) and is directly accessible by subjective experience. A person delving into these areas may be called a Mystic.
