TAROT
The Tarot is a set of playing cards containing symbols and ideals that are influenced by ancient Middle Eastern and Far Eastern sources. The origin of the cards is unknown. The oldest surviving packs date from Renaissance times and were likely introduced to Europe by travelling minstrels and entertainers. Over time the tarot has been used for a range of pastimes including fortune telling and spiritual reflection. The Tarot pack is divided into several parts and may be used in a wide variety of ways.
