SPIRITUALITY
Spirituality is a person’s private, individual experience of their deeper self. This experience can be expressed in any number of ways and need not involve being part of a religious organisation. Spirituality includes a person’s sense of connection with the world they inhabit. It is an expanded awareness which embraces the physical, emotional and cognitive aspects of life. The name we each give to this experience and the means of expression are less important than recognising that our spirituality exists.
