ANIMUS
Animus is a term that was used by the psychologist Carl Jung to describe the masculine part of the female psyche. This inner personality is the female equivalent of the anima in males and often expresses itself through characteristics or behaviours traditionally associated with men. In the Buddhist tradition the animus is equivalent to yang and is represented by assertive, active or rational qualities.
