DYNASTIC EGYPT
The Dynastic Period marks an era of ancient Egyptian history which began approximately 3100 BCE and extended until the Persian invasion by Cambyses in 525 BCE. The Dynastic Period began with the union of Upper and Lower Egypt into a single country ruled by the Pharaoh (king).
